Much Love Animal Rescue Dog Foster Application

Welcome to the Much Love Animal Rescue Foster Program!

Please answer all of the questions as if you were adopting. We ask this because so many fosters adopt their foster pet!

We ask our fosters to transport their dog or cat to our weekend mobile adoption in Santa Monica on Sunday. If you can’t, we will work with you to have a volunteer transport.

By taking an animal into your home on a temporary basis, the animal is given an opportunity to adjust to a home environment, and we are given additional time to find a permanent home. Becoming a foster parent is easy!

By filling out this application, we can match a foster animal with you and your lifestyle that will be mutually beneficial — you know you are doing a wonderful service to an animal in need and the animal is introduced to what a true loving environment feels like. If at any time the animal you are fostering isn’t the right match, we will take it back into our care and place another one that hopefully will work with your home environment.

Much Love provides all food and supplies while the pet is in your care, unless you would like to do so yourself. All supplies you purchase for fostering are often times tax-deductible (check with your tax advisor).

Much Love is responsible for all veterinary care of the animal while you are fostering it.

If you decide to adopt your foster animal, THERE IS A $200.00 ADOPTION FEE FOR DOGS, $250.00 ADOPTION FEE FOR PUPPIES.

This helps us cover the spay/neuter of your new pet, current shots, microchipping and temporary boarding of
the animal. A homecheck will be required. A binding contract will be required to adopt the animal.
